A convincing argument is what proves your hypothesis correct or incorrect. For example:

"Hypothesis: If dogs are fed chocolate, then they will get sick.

As you can see by [this graph], there is a positive correlation between the amount of chocolate given to a dog and how sick the dog gets."

Or "Hypothesis: If you paint an elephant purple, then pigs will fly.

Through my experiements, I proved this hypothesis to be incorrect." then explain more in depth.

convincing argument means an experiment in which the hypothesis is convincing, example: 'If animals breed, then there should be a lot of them' ...that's not really that good but you get the idea that it should be something that most people should believe and it can be proven or experimented

i don't really know, probably you need to convince people why YOUR hypothesis is correct or why what you think will happen is going to happen.
