The drug-lords are causing a mass illegal organism exodus resulting in a cancerous plague that is killing our country... is this not reason to take action?

Swell posting, man. It's not quite that simple because of the international politics thing but, basically you're right. Figure in the corruption and the breadth of that border and how many are making a fat collusive buck on both sides of that border and you've got a definitive formula for what the problem looks like. That's why grunts get blown away in Iraq. They could make a difference here and that's not wanted.

I thought Republicans believed in supply and demand. Simple, American employers like to hire illegal aliens at substandard wages. Poor laborers enter the country illegally to fill these jobs. There are a lot of Americans that will pay for illegal drugs. Where there is a market a supplier will surface. No ill conceived war is going to stop this. Prosecute employers, who hire illegals and get serious about treatment for drug addicts.

First of all you have to prove that this is the reason that illegal immigrants are entering the US.
Secondly, you have to prove that Mexico is run by drug lords.
Thirdly, you have to prove that illegal immigration is killing America.
Lastly, you have to prove that war with Mexico will be beneficial to the US.
I don't accept what pundits have to say as proof of anything. Same thing goes with any news source that has an obvious bias.

America is at war with drugs but Mexican drug lords are just crossing the border to sell their drugs to the big American market. The borders must be diligently guarded.
