im pretty sure i know how to do it, but is it safe, i dont want to destroy anything

the reason i want to is because its so dirty underneath the keys with hair, dust, etc.

taking the keyboard out would be alot easier than using a little pin

Yeah, it should be o.k. When laptops get serviced, (upgraded with more RAM especially) their keyboards usually have to get removed anyways to allow access to the motherboard (RAM sockets, CPU, CMOS battery, etc.) Removing the keyboard however will probably void any warranty you might have on the machine though.

purchase a can of compressed air. Spray it on the keyboard, the dirt or despite is caught between keys will grow to be unfastened, only shop spraying or blow/turn the computer the different way up now and lower back to enable the dislodged issues fall away. only be careful to not carry the can at an attitude, icy stuff comes out.

Yes, you should be able to remove it. On my laptops, there's usually a couple of screws on the bottom that need to be removed. Once done, you can pry up the keyboard from the front edge and slowly lift it out. A small ribbon cable will connect it to the motherboard. This too can be disconnected.

A lot of electronic things have gotten destroyed by people who think they know what they are doing., but in reality haven't the faintest idea. If you are not a computer tech, or someone who at least have electronics knowledge about computers, LEAVE THE THING TO QUALIFIED PEOPLE TO SERVICE.

if i were you i wouldn't, go to Wall mart or sumthin like that and in the electronics and ask for a keyboard cleaner its basically a can with compressed air and a sort of little straw connected to it and it works pretty good

it would be taking a risk, but if you think you can do it, give it a shot. but note that this will void your computer's warranty
