Ok so this is so sad but Barbies are my life! I'm 15

I play with them when taking care of my niece. This is by pretending they are real. Having had collected them and other toys as well, I am not ashamed. If I were not handling my responsibilities for my age, then it would show immaturity on my part. Some call maintaining the hair and attire of dolls as play. If that is what you do, then you will find that is acceptable even in seniors. As long as you take care of your responsibilities, this activity is just a way of escape. There are far more harmful activities that you could be doing. We all have our own idiosyncrasies. As long as we do not harm ourselves or others, activities such as this are fine. There are those who always criticize because they have nothing better to do. We must acknowledge that none of us are perfect. Though some do not enjoy your activity, they should not hold it against you. We do not all like the same things such as clothes. I consider play as pretending the toy has actual life.

I'm 30 and yep I sure do play with them sometimes. I have a 6 year old daughter. However, I used to love to comb dolls hair and got a doll with long hair when I was in the 11th grade.
I think that if YOU like playing with them and still have a healthy social life, then there's nothing wrong with it at all. Don't base whether or not you should stop doing something on when the other kids stop.
Now if you shut yourself up in a room and always prefer Barbies over real human social interaction, THEN I would say hmmmm, dunno about that lol.

Hm well this is srta akward but i played wif barbies till i wuz 12 and im 13 rite now ...and im just trying not to play wif them cuz none of my friends do and if they found out they'd probably laugh their heads off at me...i still play sort of...heh and wen i was 10 my bro played wif me too and he was like 16 hahaha he doesnt anymore....

i played until i was in 7th grade... i finally threw them out because
i thought i was too old (14) ; but now im almost 16 (in 9 days!!)
and i wish i didnt throw them outt. im very shy and keep to myself
and i used to play w/ barbies. //;
sooo no .. stay young // after i gave my barbies away i
started doing things that i now regret.

i stoped playin with barbies in the 5th grade.....but i play barbies with my 4 year old sister :-)
