No, I find his honesty refreshing. The fact that his past drug use was brought up by him in his book is a good thing, because we know that he's not trying to hide anything.

Well, Bush was also a druggie and got a DUI, and tried to cover it up...and he still got elected. So why not? Obama, however, never even said he will run for president.

Clinton did drugs and so did George Bush. At least Obama is an honest man.

He is a big favorite of the Chicago Tribune. That paper loves him. First they said he didn't have enough experience...now they say "this is a good thing". Oprah loves him, she just had him on again! I think he is the man for the job. Forget Hilary, forget Edwards....Obama has charisma and he's intelligent. I hope he goes for it!

Nope.

What will hurt him are his socialist beliefs and his heavy left leanings.

A centrist will win the next election, which is why Hillary and McCain and Giuliani are all running to the middle.

He has Bush's way before him: He must say that when he was young he was foolish and now hes grown up. It is nice that he wasn't forty before he realized drugs weren't good, but I'm sure it will get twisted by the republicans who get all holy at others mistakes.

Nope.

Some Americans prefer honesty over lies. Too bad there is not enough of them.
