As far as I'm concerned ALL TV rots kids' minds. TV is for entertainment. Any parent relying on TV to teach anything is going to come out a loser.
Young children learn from doing. Not much hands on learning taking place while watching TV. Personally I think TV teaches more bad ideas than good. Cartoons were always boring to me, and strangely, my kids never wanted to watch them. They always found more interesting ways to occupy themselves. Granted, the hair cutting episode was not all that great, but generally they faired better by doing activities versus watching someone else doing them.
I have a real problem with the attitudes shown in cartoon kids AND sitcom kids. Since when did rudeness become funny?

No!
--They enourage kids to laugh
--It inspires their imagination
