a friend gave me some music he bought on itunes (by putting it on my ipod from his computer) and now i can play it on my ipod but it when i plug it into the computer it asks for the password of the person who bought it. Does anybody know how i can get it off so i can burn a cd of it?

Why don't you ask your friend for the password?? He can change it once you have downloaded the music.

no you do not favor to purchase track off itunes. ipod will settle for songs in mp3 or aac format inspite of the source, and itunes (this methodology, not the keep) can convert songs into any of those formats for you.

think you will have to take it off on his computer then put it on yours if he copies it for you{disc}
