if your baby is moving then i wouldn't be worried i fell getting out of my showere when i was 37 weeks imagine that! :) if youre truely concerned then go to labor and delievery and tell them your situation they'll do a stress test and monitor the baby's movements for you thats what i did! good luck

The baby should be fine, when I was 7 months pregnant our dog pulled me down right ON my belly and the baby jolted, I even had a skinned up arm from being dragged, I was crying and went to the walk-in to be checked, baby was fine and doctor said they are well protected. Since you fell mostly on your butt you should be fine, if i fell right smack on my baby, and she turned out ok, but if you want to know for sure, to get the babys heartate checked, thats all they did for me.

Call your doctor's office. I fell at 16 weeks on my butt too I wasn't having any pain just scared... I called my doc and he sent me to the hospital for an emergency ultrasound. The baby was perfectly fine but it was better safe then sorry.

i think baby is fine. as long as you aren't bleeding or cramping. baby is very well protected, by your strong uterine muscles and the fluid she is in. If you have any type of contractions or pain, then I would go to the er or consult your dr. I would refrain from going on any ice, even if you want to teach your daughter to skate...typically, ice skating is a no-no when you are pregnant!

There's no easy answer--get checked by your doctor. You don't want to play around when it comes to the health of your unborn baby.
You are probably fine, but why put off calling. You'll only worry over every ache or twinge.
Good luck to you!

Better safe than sorry. I would have went straight to the ER. This is your baby. And still early in your pregnancy. You can not really rely on movement from the baby to reassure you. Go to the Dr. ASAP.

You should call your doctor, but if you're not bleeding, everything should be ok. The baby is padded really well inside your tummy. I have fallen during all of my pregnancies, and it didn't affect the child. Especially when you get bigger, you are so unsteady and off balance. Just be careful and keep your Doctor informed.

I was walking through the yard, when I was about 20 weeks and fell on my butt... I was fine. But if you start to bleed or start experiencing cramps go to the er.

I really don't think so. The womb is a really good shock-absorber, and the baby is quite protected. You might want to call your OB just to be sure. But I'm confident everything is fine.

If you begin to experience anything out of the ordinary, than perhaps you should consult your doctor.
