Hole saws will work in your drill press. The chuck will adjust down to accomidate the shank of the hole saw. When you cut the hole go slow with a slight in and out motion. Also, be sure to put a piece of wood beneath the piece you're working on to prevent stricking the platform of the drillpress which would damage to the saw teeth.

If the chuck of the drill press will tighten down enough to hold the centering bit on the hole saw it will work just fine. Most drill presses will tighten down to around an 1/8 inch so you should be ok.

Yes, they will work. If the arbor (or shank) is too small for your press, you can buy a larger shanked arbor for your hole saw blades.

they actually work best in a drill press.

yes just keep the RPM low and flood it with oil to keep it cool.

works but at low speed, high speed will cause problem
