Genocide in Sudan?

Is it just me or are we (the US) doing nothing to help the people of Sudan that have traditional beliefes from being slaughtered by the people that have Islamic beliefes?

No one's been doing anything for over 20 years... There does seem to be a current ceasefire that's actually holding. The people of the south (I assume you mean them not the darfuris) get to vote in about 4 years on continuing to be part of sudan or becoming autonomous. We'll see if the sudanis really abide by their agreement....

ME (who posted below me) the sudani gov's attacks on darfur are relatively recent, the animists and christians in the south have been suffering at their hands for over 20 years, some estimates are as high as 2 million of them being slaughtered, at least that many of been sent from their homes. The washington post/your imam probably would prefer you didn't know that.

It's the never ending story. Some deep sh*t goes on in a country and no one else is willing to step up to the plate but they expect good ol' USA to go in and save the day. Then critisize how we didn't get there sooner or how we did things there while sitting back and doing nothing about the situation.

Is it just me but dont muslim haters seem like hypocrites when they oppose Muslim govts killing Muslims/Non-muslims but support the genocide of Muslims by non-Muslim govts in Chechyna, Bosnia, Kosovo, Palestine, Kashmir, Burma etc

what do you think we are doing, we are fighting islam, just not yet in darfur, we still got our hands ful in Iraq, Iran, Syria.
