Does it disappoint you that most people have only heard of Gary Jules because of his "Mad World" cover

I love Gary Jules. I have all of his albums and then some. Yes, I, too, was introduced to him because of his "Mad World" cover, but I became a huge fan. He's an amazing musician and I don't think he gets the credit he deserves. All of his music is amazing, and I think he has become cliche in a way due to his limited fame.

Rangel, although I agree with your point, I've read things about Gary Jules, and he absolutely doesn't do it for the money. He is a musician, as well, and one of the best in my opinion. You should look up some stuff on him. The money seems to be the farthest thing from his wants.

Well you like him a lot after having been introduced to Mad World. And I do. And my son does (and he's a real music geek). So, really, I have to assume lots of other people have found Gary Jules that way also.

So no it doesn't disappoint me. I'm just glad to have found him.

sorry but people who do covers and get popular by doing it are NOT worthy to be called Musicians. because they don't have the material in the first place and plus the fact that their agent and record label are only using them to get rich... again, sorry

Yes. i am sory to say that i only heard about him through that xbox game commercial but now i know WHO HE IS.. haha so i can listen to stuff by him..

I think he is very talented. It doesn't disappoint me necessarily, but I'm sure he will be recognized eventually.
