Or will they keep him.

Jake will probably be cut. Don't be surprised if he ends up with Houston next season. David Carr is just not cutting the mustard.

Also, don't be surprised if Jay Cutler falls on his face next season.

Denver would rather keep him on at backup in case Jay Cutler goes down. However, Shanahan might look to get a draft pick or someone to boost the offensive line with Jake Plummer as trade bait. Denver would more than likely trade Jake instead of just cutting him and taking the loss.

The whole reason for drafting Jay Cutler was incase Plummer was doing bad whcih we all saw and taht is why cutler started part of the season. Why would they "cut" a good veterat QB, i think they will not cut him but they will trade him to get sum younger guys to feel other places taht denver mite need. I see no point in cutting Jake because you get nothing in return for him so tahts y i say they trade him

Jake's gone, just depends on if the Broncos can get something for him. Don't be supprised if he winds up in Miami or Chicago next season (with Brian Greise as a back up). Chicago may look at a trade if they pull a one and done in the playoffs. Miami needs help since Culpepper can't cut it.

I don't know. Jay Cutler is the future and has potential. Jake Plummer is getting old and may be a bit costly. I think they'll cut him.

Jake was ruined in Arizona with there weak O-Line. he needs to be a pocket QB. Reconstruct his vision of the field and stay in the pocket, he makes too many mistakes being a snake. Next stop, Oakland.

I have to think he'll not take back seat to the new Cutler era and will want to go somewhere that needs a starting QB even if he's a roller coaster act. I kinda liked the "mountain man" but he was just too inconsistent.

They'll keep him. The reality of the NFL is that teams need two starting caliber quarterbacks in order to be successful. The teams that don't have that capability- the Bucs for instance- fail miserably when their starter goes down

Trade him probably not. But I could see him asking to be let out of his contract in order to start somewhere else.
