Well, there are lots of chat room with other students and stuff (for example, Yahoo! chat rooms have chat rooms for students). However, these chat rooms sometimes contains pornographic links or discussions. Also, vulgar language is oftenly used. If you're looking for a "safe" chat room, you should find a chat room with a filter or an active admin/mod that can kick/ban these types of things/people.
