No Nixon did not go to jail, he resigned before his impeachment was completed in the House. Nixon was not brought to trail before the Senate and Ford pardoned him, thereby preventing any possible prosecution after the resignation. richard nixon NEVER served a day in jail for watergate. he even got pardened by the now departed gerald ford that took over the office.
