I found out when I was 14 weeks along through a 3-D sonogram; it depends on whether or not your baby wants to show him/herself (and after the organs are formed, of course!) and the quality of the sonogram. I've known people who knew sooner; oh, and it would also depend on the experience the person performing the sonogram has. My doctor was very good, so I was blessed to have been able to prepare myself very early in my pregnancy. Hope this helps!

I was 17 weeks with two of my boys, 18 weeks with another, and with one, they said girl but I learned at 37 weeks that she was infact a he. Good thing I still had 2 weeks left to get the pink out and the blue in!!

They say that 20 weeks is ideal. I found out at eighteen, and my sister found out at sixteen weeks. Good luck!
