I hate modern Indie Music, with its pretentious skinny jeans wearing, self righteous, whinging, wimpy lead singers, and happy sounding songs with sh*te sad lyrics.
I also hate Modern Hip-Hop, f*cking R&B
I like the pixies, Nirvana, Beatles, CHilli Peppers,and the Kinks.
is there any hope for my music generation??

hmm you know what? i bet there's a lot of people who don't like your music either... I guess everyone's entitled to have their own opinion and own taste in music!

I hate The Kooks, The Horrors, The Fratellis, the list goes on. I am not sure if they're indie though.
The Arcade Fire and Interpol have been called indie and they're both good band in my opinion. But I hardly listen to any modern music

Some indie music is okay, make sure you're not judging the whole genre based on one or two bands that fit under that genre. All indie bands don't wear skinny jeans and they don't all have ***whining***, wimpy lead singers...but hey if you don't like indie music, then that's your opinion, but there's some people that do like it.
