Will this look bad on my resume later?

No its a great job to have while your in school. I don't think it will look bad, it just shows that you have a history of working with people. Go for it, your only young once.

Kind of depends what you're applying for, doesn't it? May look good if you're going to work in for Hooters, Playboy or a casino. Perhaps not too attractive if you're applying with a religious right group.
You may just want to put you had various jobs working your way thru college or advise you waitressed.

Hooters is a legitimate business so I don't think it should make that much of a difference. If it does, it says more about the job recruiter. Its a waitressing job, that's all.

My neice put herself through college by working at Hooter's. It didn't hurt her when she got a job with a newspaper after she graduated. Hooter's is a restaurant/bar, not a stripclub. It's not any different from Appleby's, it's just marketed differently.

Of course, you get some good tips.Any restaurants or department stores are good part time to work while attending school. You are getting some experience built up for your dream job. Good Luck!

Well, you don't necessarily have to put it on a resume when you're applying for jobs later.

I don't know, but it couldn't be that great for you. And I hope you have more respect for yourself than that. You're valuable for what you are inside. I consider Hooters not that different from prostitution.
