Honestly, im sick of people, saying like omg im so emo, i wanna be emo, i cut myslf, so i must be emo. Dude, its a sterotype of people. Just because you listen to a certain band, where certain clothes, and wear makeup in a different way, DOES NOT make you emo. Most people are fully clear on the meaning of emo. Emo, is an outlook on life. Not just an attitude.

Oh emo. From experience with friends, you have to wear skinny jeans. They are an emo kid staple. Also tight shirts, shirts with stripes/polka-dots/or another other pattern. Darker the colors the better. Wear a lot of dark colors but put a pop of color in [like yellow or hot pink]. Make-up is definetly dark eyes. Black eyeliner, smokey eye, however you want to put it. Shoes are for girls are ballarina flats or some beat up Converse. Hair would of course go in your eyes. Long or short. With bangs- most likely black hair. Listen to emo music also.

well i know some ppl who r really emo if ur emo u like emo music usally dey wear really dark clothes real emos cut demselves because of there problems i've heard they cut demselves 2 feel alive. i wouldnt do that it just scars me and thats bad
