im thinking of buying ps3 from usa or japan are they multi region, will games and movies play

yes i have a ps3 you can play ps1 and ps2 games the menu is like a psp one if you have a psp you can do romate play with psp software 3.03 so you can use the psp as a psp romote and you can send data from your psp to ps3 or from your ps3 to psp and you can play movies and it is a dvd player as well and some of the ps3 games are quite good overall it,s worth the £500 pounds

Yea I think that they are but i wouldnt risk it because they may not be because Sony are doing loads of things to stop scams on the Ps3 like blueray disks and they may do this
