ok well i keep getting these txt messages on my phone that say like find out who your soal mate is and all this stuff but i didnt sign up for anything anywhere and now my moms saying im lying and that i shouldnt do stuff like that and shes like yelling at me saying its wrong and now im grounded from my cell phone and i didnt do anything and she doesnt believe me.. help!

What your mother doesn't realize is that now telemarketers have access to cell phone numbers and with the increasing usage of text messages these telemarketers are now able to send advertisements to you via text message. It should give a phone number of the person who is sending the message unless they are sending the message from a internet based delivery system which it should say "Sender: Unkown" If you want to help her believe you, what you can do is sit down and talk with her and say, "look mom, I don't know who is sending these and it's getting me in trouble, can you please just call the cell phone company and have them block text messages because I don't want them either, it's creeping me out." Unless your cell phone company is a big bunch of idiots, they can block incoming text messages

calmly try to explain agian, tell her that they are just like junk mail. Maybe if you can stand it let her cut off the texting service with the cell phone provider and just use your phone for calls instead of texting.

i work for a cell phone company just tell her to check the unbilled usages on the bill and you should be straight because if you did it would show up.

Explain to her. You know you're not lying so its not your fault at all. If you punishes you for something you did not do tell her that. But don't start fighting that makes matters worse.
