If they lose to the Lions they shouldn't be in the playoffs!

That'd what's nice about the NFL -- you earn your way to the playoffs according to the existing rules. No debate, no one can claim you don't belong there. Scoreboard baby.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if they won the Superbowl?

I was hoping the Cowboys was not in the playoffs either but because of the weak NFC their 9-7 record earned them a 5th place finish.

This is true, but look at the Bears who lost to the Dolphins...THE DOLPHINS!!!... Plus the fact that they switched QB in mid season, similar to Philly, but that was due to an injury...just think of what might have been if they had let Bledsoe continue as the starter...Plus the fact that they have a WR who if he does not get the ball whines...It would appear that each playoff team has had a couple of bad games, I would have liked to see the Packers get in so that Favre could play more and the DEF seemed to really be clicking

Well, This question may be philisophical in nature, I would still say yes, They had a record over .500 at the 12 game/13th week of the season. That's what the NFL goes by when determining playoff race. one cannot base the ligitimacy of play off contention by one game, it goes by the team record after 12 games played.

I am a Cowboys fan, but I feel they need to drop some dead weight off the team (T.O. is a good example) before the team can be a team and start working together. They have some really good players, but again if they aren't working together, then the playoffs will be short lived...

Yes, they do. They could even beat the Seahawks. Romo has come back to earth, but if he could connect like he was a few weeks back, this makes their running game and defense that much better. Will they go anywhere after that? I doubt it. I think they are more deserving team than the Giants or the Chiefs, though.

Well if T.O. would shut his mouth (which he never will) and Romo stops flirting with Carrie Underwood before the Saints game and then getting blown out then maybe. Actually they dont, the Giants may look bad right now but they deserve to be there more then the cowboys. Go blue!

Yes. The other teams need a good practice before the divisional playoffs and Cowgirls are perfect for that. HOMOromo is Not ready.

No, I would have rather had anyone else. I live in Dallas and don't want them to win anything. I hope the Seahawks knock them out, then the Seahawks get knocked out by the Bears.

Go Giants, Make it to the Division Round (to face the Saints).
