No, this is an El Nino year. However, global warming is a fact and may actually be increasing the frequency and severity of El Ninos. This warm trend most of the eastern portion of the continent is experiencing, is actually getting people thinking more about the environment.

Well El Nino is being caused by global warming but I'm not sure if it's a cover up for global warming. But if it is they won't be able to hide it forever because the earth is just going to keep getting warmer and warmer unless we stop pollution.
