It doesn't really matter. The reserve price is already set. If you reveal it, then the person may choose not to bid at all. If you don't reveal it, then the person will either meet the reserve or they won't.

It really depends if you set your reserve price where your happy with it.

If you set your reserve too low and reveal it and nobody is intrested in your item you might not get what you where expecting.

If your happy with the reserve price, then by all means tell people what it is since it will encourage them to bid on your item

No. Do not do this. Remember you pay an extra fee for having a reserve price. Many forums on ebay about this. Look there for more information.

people say no....but from a buyers stand point...when someone says no....why stick around and waste your time is my attitude.

as a seller, power seller and seller with score of over 1000, I always put in my auctions what my reserve price is. so that way people know what my minimum is and normally people will bypass that dollar, dollar, dollar, dollar bidding and just jump right up and kill the reserve.

those that so don't give it up, have never sat back and researched the stats on giving or not giving, over 70% that don't get the price, don't bid on the item. ebay WON'T tell you all the stats, only the stats that make them look good.

I would. They have a certain price in mind. No sense wasting time if the reserve is too high and if the reserve is in their price range they will continue bidding.

Yes. I hate those secret reserve things. Why not just tell people what you want? Why keep it a secret? If I see reserve not met - I don't bid. It's stupid.

no, because then they are less likely to bid higher.
Reserve price is confidential. If someone asks for it, they apparently think they can con you into revealing it.
