i got a 1990 honda civic dx hatchback and i need to know how to replace my clutch cable?, its got the 1.5 4 cylinder motor in it.

start with the trans end the cable end has a screw shape unscrew counter clock will give the slack needed then lift the clutch arm pull the end cable down and out the notch on the arm then take it off the arm after the arm is apart pull up again on the cable to guide the cable out of the bracket on the trans now inside the car look under the dash on top of the peddle you push the peddle down to give slack the at the top there is a hook at the cable end fire wall turn left counter clock to take the black fire wall bracket off the slide out ti the motor side .

are you sure there is clutch oil sometimes if it is dry you can try putting clutch oil the cylnder is under the hood usally behind the break cylnder after you need to pump the clutch just like breaks for air and maybe you won't need the cord
