Open your browser (IE - Internet Explorer). At the top of the screen, click on "Tools/Internet Options/Content .. then .. AutoComplete settings. You can now toggle this feature off.

Mis-read the question. Nevermind - sorry.

If you're talking about the recently typed history when you use the dropdown, you can go to the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\
Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

There you will see every single one numbered starting with a 1 through however many are there. Find the one you want to delete and record its number (for example, 5). Delete it. Now find the one that's left that has the highest number (for example, 20). Change this number to match the one that you deleted (using the same example, you would change it from 20 to 5). That way, you don't break the sequence and that URL is gone just like that!

If it's still there, make sure you close out of all Internet Explorer windows before you go into the Registry to make that change.

Now the other suggestion to just clear your history under Tools -> Options will of course work too, but it will clear them all.

There, to my knowledge, is no way to remove a specific entry from the website autocomplete bar.

You can however remove them all.
Open up IE
Goto 'Tools'
Click on the 'Internet options'

In the first tab,at the bottom, You can 'clear history' that should remove them.

To do it the idiot way (like I have done sometimes so my hubby doesn't see what online stores I am shopping on - LOL) keep putting in new URL's - as you add a new one the one on the bottom drops off the list. Eventually you will get to the one you want to get rid of. You only have to go on a site for a second for it to register in your history bar. Hope that helps!
