Can you help. Have been trying for a couple of months to get pregnant. Husband had vacectomy reversal in June last year. Sperm count good but motility 20% so we do the usual, stay in bed, raise legs etc. I have regular cycles and have detected my ovulation with OPK. I have a 31 day cycle and think I know when I ovulate. BUT I never have any mucus I read about that would confirm that I am ovulating so I dont quite know how long I have to be fertile. I had last menstruation on 18 of December last year so I should ovulate on 3rd which was yesterday. Have had intercourse everday since Sunday 31st. Because of lack of mucus I am not sure If I am still fertile today??? Any help??

I have a 31 day cycle as well, and I ovulate on day 17 (with day 1 being the first day of my period) I got pregnant the first month we tried by having sex on day 14, 15, 17 and 18. Day 16 we didn't try because we were told to let my hubby's sperm count go up by taking a day off. Today would be the last day you are fertile, since the egg is only good for about 24 hours, so I'd try today as well. Good luck.

If you are trying to get pregnant and everything is ok. Then the more sex the better. I don't think it really matters if you are fertile today. If it is going to happen it will. My friend has sex at a time there was no way she was fertile and she still got pregnant. If you only have sex when you are fertile you will start to feel like robots. So just have fun and enjoy. It will happen soon. Also I have read that you are fertile the day after you ovulate. Reach up and touch your cervix if you are fertile it will be high. If you have already ovulated it will be low. Don't stress and good luck!!

I also don't get fertile cervical mucus. The best way to know when you're fertile is to use ovulation predictor kits. If you do have a lack of mucus and your husband has a problem with motility you should try using Preseed. It's the only lubricant that is safe to use when you're trying to get pregnant. It won't kill the sperm like other lubes will and it will help the sperm swim to where they need to go.

you shouldnt have sex everyday...have it everyother day. it takes sperm 48 hours to fully rejuvinate. Just a little time for you...my dr took me to have sex every other day starting 4 to 5 days before expected ovulation and continue for at least 4 to 5 days after expected ovulation..good luck

Relax enjoy and don't think about it too much.
The more you worry the less chance you have.
