I am planning to move to Woodlands Texas, my wife & I are both teachers. She is an elementary school teacher, and I a highschool teacher. We had narrowed moving to Texas down to two cities, College Station or Woodlands Texas. I am more curious about the Woodlands than I am C.S. Does anyone have any information on real estate, public/private school districts. Pay rate for the average going highschool/elementary school teacher. We wouldn't move until probably a year from now however we are starting to plan now & I am curious as to what steps are neccesary in moving from Omaha, Nebraska to Texas. Thank you.

Don't worry about all that if your two choices are Woodlands or College Station.
TAKE THE WOODLANDS!
More options for social life, restaurants, parks, better area, and besides, you won't have to become an Aggie.

Stay in Nebraska, you will not be able to watch football again once you move here ( at least not and wear corn husker paraphernalia ). Nahh, Just kidding welcome to Texas! Just stay away from Pasadena ( you will find out why they call it funky Pasadena if you don't) you might try Conroe ( it's very nice ).
