No doubt, though, that there are Genuine Forces.

I did a Ouija board about 20 years ago with some friends. Lots of freaky things happened, scared the crap out of me. Even though it was scary stuff it became kind of addictive and in the end I went to a church to ask for help. I was about 13 when it happened. Whenever I talk to people about what happened they look at me as if I'm making it up. I would never mess with one now. I have learned my lesson! So what were your experiences? Do you still do Ouija boards? I wouldn't recommend them lol

Well, when you think about it, isn't Yahoo Answers a bit like the ouija board? You ask it a question and you are not sure what you will get back - someimes playful or mischievous answers and occasionally words of wisdom.
Oh, and yes I too have had a couple of really frightening experiences with it, so never again.
I do not think there are 'evil forces' as such, however - I do think it is the power of the subconscious but even that is a frightening idea.

When i was young a group of friends got into the Ouija board act and took it to far they started to mess with the board on 2 holy places a church and an old priests house within 5 years 3 died the other 2 ended up herion addicts, 1 of them gave an interview on national TV of what she went through as a junkie she said of that time it was a mistake in her life, of the 2 addicts last i heard the trawl the streets were i use to live begging.

Years ago these boards were really popular.
My friends and i had some really scary experiences with a Ouija board . It told us things we couldn`t have possible known about my mother`s childhood,
We thought it was a joke until we told my mother it terrified her because the things were true ,
We never used the board again

the forces are subconscious and can be very dangerous science can't explain it, so it rejects it, but Ouija boards are still band in this country, because they can have a terrible effect on people, anybody who ridicules it has never seen it work proper, poltergeists are said to come from a subconscious force and it does exist.my advice would be stay away from them,there is something powerful going on and it comes straight from the subconcious even that cannot see in the dark.

I'm not certain it was real, but my two sisters played when I was a child at my Grandmothers house. She had a lovely baby blue antique board. My Grandmother asked the questions and recorded the answers while I watched.
My Grandma was a witchy lady and she went to look up the name of the spirit they were communicating with. She found it in one of her old books and read that it was a demon. I don't remember if I actually saw the words in the book.
I still can't be sure whether she was just playing with us, or even had my sisters make it move, but it really freaked me out.

Yeah, and me 30+ years ago. This stuff was big then wasn't it? Frankly, I was never sure if anyone was "pulling" but I saw enough to give it up. As to your genuine forces, every age of man thinks it's got all the answers, only to be corrected later. There's lots of forces we don't understand. I nearly get my brain on some of them sometimes.( I think!)

Yes . about 15 years ago my friend and i did one in her living room. not much happened at the time, but afterwarrds the stereo in the room went funny, would switch on when unplugged etc..we both also on seperate occasions heard someone call our names from outside the upstairs bsathroom to find no one there and she had a few more scary experiences in the house after that.

my mom used to have me play with her all the time because she wanted to figure out how I was doing to it. See, I could get it to do in most cases what I wanted - I wouldn't even have to touch it just think consciously or subconsciously of any command and most times it it would obey or it would do what it thought was best.
My mom wanted to find out why. I always had a feeling as to why, whatever is behind it has a mind of its own and it decides alone the answers it wants to give; at times we seemed to agree.

Ouija Board? your playing with fire. Don't go near it. They bring evil forces and you have no control.
