Wii60, the wii and the 360 for the price of the PS3 miles worth it, and will last you longer in entertainment value. Nobody even knows which high definition disc is going to win, at least microsoft are giving the choice to buy a HD-DVD add on, tbh with microsoft backing the HD-DVD, i cant really see it losing, and its out selling the blue ray. And the PS3 is a stupid unimaginitive console that has attempted to copy the 360 and the Wii, and failing resulting in a half assed product.
Even though the PS3 online is free, its unlikely that game companys will bother to develop online modes on their games, due to lack of profit. And the networking is not even policed, at least live has a decent system and is controlled by moderators.

It depends what you like. The PS3 now has free online play, while with the 360 you have to get a membership card. And graphics (though I haven't played a PS3 myself) I've heard that the PS3 hasn't lived up to what it was cracked up to be, but the 360's are very good especially with sports games. But if you're on a budget I'd get the 360

Depends on if you like graphics or not.

Both have great games + graphics, but PS3 is $200-$400 more than the Xbox 360.

Also, Xbox Live costs money, while (I don't think) PS3's broadband connection needs money. You just need a good connection.

If you have a PSP, there's a new patch available to download that enables you to "remotely access" your PS3.

The PS3 also allows you to watch Blu-Ray discs, which are Hi-def. There's also a media center similar to the one on the PSP.

well that just depends.

PS3: you can pay $600 for great graphics!!! and the PS3 doesnt have that many games out... on the plus it does play blu ray disks so if you want a blu ray player then go for the PS3 because you get games and the blu ray it also plays old PS2 and i think PS1 games

Xbox 360: the Xbox 360 doesnt have as good of graphics but there still good... and it doesnt play blu ray disks... but its alot cheaper!!!!!! its like $250 or something(not quite sure) and it plays all the old Xbox games

i would probably go with the 360 because you get it alot cheaper and if you dont care about blu ray then its not worth paying $600 for the PS3

PS3
Pros-Blue ray player, good graphics, free online

Cons-Expensive price point $650+. Horrible sales, game selection is poor
free online also means that there is no motivating reason for sony to improve/update there online service.

360

Pros-Better Processing power then the PS3, meaning better games/graphics, amazing online service. Great game selection.
Good price, compared to the ps3. You can get a freakin Wii+360 for the price a PS3

Cons-lack of good RPGs (only good one is oblivion)

Overall 360 is much better then the PS3

XBOX 360!!! There's more games! And it's cheaper. Wait a little longer for the PS3 and the price will go down.
