Some people choose not to...and some are blindfolded.What's the reason for that?

I have seen several hangings and it is not a pretty sight to see the face of the person, or to watch the contortions as they are choking to death....the blindfold option should be mandatory....

Actually, it's more of a psychedelic experience if you don't see all the people standing around laughing. Life is a dark ride, and going out in the dark is just a fitting end to it.

Some do not want their face seen while getting hung. It is too humiliating.

i would think when your hanged you would make a really stupid face, like on cartoons.
