I'm glad that they are over, but I sure do miss the wonder that was in my daughter's eyes on Christmas morning.

Can't really say that I'm 'happy'. I love Christmas. But I am happy that all the Christmas stupidity is over. By that I mean the needless excess and the empty apparitions, decorations, and synthetic warmth. For me, Christmas is a very spiritual time, and there is so much that goes on during the season that is antithetical to the true meaning of Christmas.
