I don't know the texture of your fabric... But ICE really does help a lot. If that doesn't work, resort to the goo gone stuff or the eucalyptus oil. Work on sections at a time and be patient as you go...

ps I think peanut butter might resolve the issue of getting the gum off...But then you're going to have to worry about the oil in the peanut butter! Remember, it's a chair and can't be thrown into the washer. I wonder about anything else with oil in it.....for the same reason.

Hi,
Buy a bottle of eucalyptus oil and rub it into the fabric. It does a great job without harming the fabric. Eucalyptus Oil is one of the best kept secrets in the war against gum stuck on things

freeze it off. You can use a can of compressed air held upside down to freeze the gum,and then pull it off. Some stores also sell a canned product that will accompish this too.

I have little kids peanut butter and ice will work. The peanut breaks it up somehow and you'll just have to wipe it off . Just rub it on the gum and you will see you might have to rub it a little depends on how much gum. The ice will freeze it and all you have to do is use a butter knife to rub it off.

Use an icecube. Put the cube directly onto gum unti it hardens; then remove.

Try Goo-Gone. You can buy it at grocery or drug stores. It's great, even removes wax. Good luck, been there, too!
