I don't mean lots of carbs, I mean tablespoonfuls of raw, out the bag, uncooked flour? do you know what causes it and why? do you know how to stop?

Hi, I'm a flour eater also. I was told by a nutritionist that my body lacks iron, that is why I crave large amounts - spoon fulls of raw flour out of the bag. I fully can relate to your (our )situation. Sometimes, to pacify that taste, I purchase Manischewictz Kosher Matzo Crackers - Thin - unsalted; that helps the craving.
Most importantly, we both have to eat foods that are high in iron so we won't crave this food in this form. You're not alone!

You probably have a vitamin or mineral deficiency; thus the flour contains something that your body needs (craving). I may be mistaken but I think flour contains some iron. Suggestion, you might consider a good multi vitamin and mineral supplement. One more thing, pregnant women have been know to crave dirt. They'll actually eat the stuff by the spoonfuls. What they are craving though is the minerals in the soil.

Do u mean what causes you to eat flour? Never done it personally, but I am sure there is a health professional you can see who will help.

See your GP.

Eat pancakes, pasta and bread instead. It means you need some complex carbs and have been depriving yourself.
It's the simple carbs that are bad for you: man made sugars.
Complex carbs also have other nutrients accompanying them that maintain mental health, circulation, digestion normalities, etc.

Be careful. If you develop a yeast infection you might rise. But seriously, I have heard of people with eating disorders where they eat large amounts of unusual foods such as mayonnaise. You might want to talk to a counselor or a doctor.
