If i am a beginer guitar player does anyone know some riffs that might be able to help me get good in a month of playing 30 mins a day or 2-3 hours a week?

If you take your guitar seriously, learning a few chords or using free stuff from the net won't be enough. You should get guitar lessons - either hire a teacher, or get an "online" guitar lessons course. I used a learn-at-home course and it was both very effective and very inexpensive compared to hiring a guitar teacher. Also, it enabled me to progress at my own pace, practice whenever I had free time.
Best advice i can give you is to go to ReviewsNest.com - the reviews site where i read about the course i bought: http://www.reviewsnest.com/GuitarLessons . They give free reviews for several guitar courses, tell U what to look for in a course, what are the best courses around, and what u get in each course they checked.
I bought the LMG course (their top pick) so i can only vouch for it - I don't know about the other courses. However - the course i bought is excellent, and their review of it was spot-on, and it looks like the other reviews they put for the other courses are good too. LMG - the course i bought - costs $250 (i got it on sale for $200), so it may be too expensive 4U (is it?) but if so - the other courses reviewed cost only $20 to $40 , and also seem great.

Honestly, buy a lesson book and learn your scales. Play them over and over as fast as you can. It really helps your speed and picking, and teaches you the scales, which is key to being a good guitar player.

if you really want to learn songs right away, go with older ones from the 70s or 80s. but you should probably start out with just playing chords and scales at first.

you can also go to websites to help you learn more
i suggest www.ultimate-guitar.com its a great site
it explains the basics and provides tabs from various artists.
i think you can further your guitar skills just remember that the more you practice the better youll get.

I would try learning some Nirvana songs....
Ones to start with, Come as you are, polly, rape me.
those are probally the easiest to learn, just do a search on google to lean them
