I underwent 6 months of Clomid. After each time and no period, I would be so excited, but just to find out that I was not pregnant and needed Provera to flush the egg and start again. Don't be discouraged. On month 6, I decided I would give the Clomid one more try and then I would just leave it up to God. I know the hormones are insane on Clomid, mixed with anticipation, it can nearly wreck your sanity- and marriage. I happy to say that I am now the proud mother of a 9 month old.

Well I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle of clomid (It was either 50mg or 100mg, i dont remember). I took it days 3-7 and on day 14 I got a progesterone shot and was told to have sex on days 12-16 on alternating days (12, 14, 16) We did it on days 12 and 14 and missed day 16, I thought I wouldn't get pregnant for sure, sure 4 days after i missed my period i took a test and it came out positive, now my son is 3 months old and i love him, so good luck, anything can happen, you might be surprized.

Not everyone gets pregnant the first month on it. They'll usually have you try it for 6 months. So don't give up hope yet. I took it for two months and was not monitored by my doctor either. All doctors are different. As long as you know you're ovulating and you're not having problems then I think that's fine. Baby dust to you!

I under went infertility treatment with Clomid. The whole point of the Clomid treatment is that my OBGYN also monitored my overies through ultra-sound. You aren't doing this?? Have you been brought through a series of other tests?

After atleast 6 attempts with chlomid and IUI's, I never had a successful pregnancy on chlomid. I did however have success with in vetro, but lost that baby. My husband and I are now adopting and very excited that we will soon be parents, which is all we wanted to be. Chlomid can make you kindof "freaky" feeling, afterall it boosts our hormonal level, and God knows we already have enough of that going on! I would be patient, keep trying, and if not successful, research your other options, Good Luck to you.
