Is Grissom seriously leaving the show?

Grissom is taking a teaching Sabbatical for a few weeks. The word is that he's coming back in late Feb/early Mar. In the meantime, we'll have the (perhaps evil) Michael Keppler (Liev Schreiber), taking over the night shift!

William Peterson (Gil) is taking time off from the show to do a play in Rhode Island so they had to find a way to explain it in the show...so Gil is taking a sabbatical.

He is only going on a 4 week sabatical. That is what the episode is going to reveal...They are just hyping it up for ratings...
