Maya, First off, I have had my windows PC for 3 years no viruses(and two years before that, but I had a virus thanks to a lovly sibling), all it takes is knowing how to use a computer. Also, even on the New intel macs that can run windows and mac, applications such as photopshop have been benchmarked to run faster on windows then mac, on the same apple intel machine.

Second, Steve and Bill worked together for windows, Bill was mainly the salesmen for windows, then steve broke off from windows, and started another operating system, which is now apple and Macintosh, windows is not a copy of it, it IS it.

BTW, If it matters, I also have a MAC, It's a little older though, and does not have the new OS X on it.

Okay people, I am a PC User. I've tried macs before. All what you are saying is sh!t. I am sorry to use that word but it is. It depends on who uses the computer. Spam? Mac has it. Pc Has it. Viruses? Both have em. More efficient hardware and software? How can you tell that?? Plus, it is known that these days PC's r more efficient (at least with photoshop, which I work on). Please, there is no BIG REASON. The reason is, the look, but what? There are a lot of Docks out there, that can be set up on a PC easily, personally, I have object dock, looks great.

Now I will tell you why I dont like MACs (my opinion). You have to use to hands for EVERYTHING. We have two-buttoned mouse (mine has 10 buttons, lol I love it!)
Secondly, double click minimizes applications!? Come on people, to maximize you have to focus your little eyes to that green "+" eeww....
Next, everything is on the desktop, what a mess!!.
Windows Explorer is much simple, than that "sofisticatEd" Finder.
I will accept this. Macs look great. Docks, genie effects on applications. Err.... thats it, and that can be simlutated on a PC
Hope you like my answer bro. It took my sometime to write this.
80% Of applications are for PC!!! When compatibillity reaches 100% for both. I might consider a mac....

who cares if bill gates stole the idea? We knew how to work it... See? come on sue him.... AHAHAH richest man in the world... wow... im proud to use his products.. lol im kiddin

PC POWER!!
and mac too.... uugh.....

For one it runs the best operating system. Secondly,Apple hardware is a cut above the rest. Apple lle's are still in use after all these years. The Mac just works-you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it all out. Macs have excellent hardware/software integration-it just works. Get the picture?

I've always kind of liked Mac OS but OS/X is amazing. For me it's the best OS of them all (sorry Windows and Linux).

Fast, efficient, no viruses or spam. And not made by a person who copied the idea of computers from Steve Jobs and his first computer. :) I've heard the first efficient computer was built by Steve Jobs [Apple] and Windows just copied.
