I bought a Blackberry through T-Mobile. The IT guy at work set it up so that I get work email on it. I don't send or recieve any emails with the Blackberry that I wouldn't want my employer to see. I'm wondering if I also need to be careful when I surf the web with the Blackberry. Because it communicates with my employer's email server, can my employer also see what web sites I visit?

How do I know if I'm using the company's server to connect to the internet?

If the server you're using to connect to the Internet is the one for your job, then the answer is yes. Every site you visit is recorded on the server's history, and all your employer needs to do to see it is go on his main computer, connect to the server, and call up your account.

If you're connecting to the Internet using your own server, you're ok.
