i think the current welfare system would cripple us. the fact that so many people are on welfare with so many children is scary as it is. but to be able to reproduce without a partner is even scarier!!!

Asexual reproduction is the future.
Imagine reproducing
1.) w/o wasting energy wooing and courting
2.) w/o fears of sexually transmitted diseases
3.) passing on your DNA 100% instead of only 50%
4.) knowing with certainty that you'll have a healthy child.
5.) w/o all those disgusting wetspots and dirty sheets.
6.) knowing with certainty about the diseases that your clone may be predisposed toward.
Sex will be completely recreational.

not beneficial. we would all be clones of our parents(selves) and life would be boring. we would all look alike and we would be androgenous. sexual reproduction is better because it allows for natural selection. the strong survive to reproduce and the weak-not so much. it's also probably not as much fun.

it would be boring...
I think we would live less time, we need NEW cells to live more, asexual reproduction implies the division of the old cells into 2 "new"
maybe I´m wrong...

I don't think it would be beneficial. The population would grow too large to support the Earth.
