I think it is a little personal, after all, if it is yours, would the groom appreciate it? If it is a mixed bag, would the bride feel you are cheap? I think you are walking the knife edge of rejection here...Either way, you are going to disappoint someone. After all the years it took to build on your collection, wouldn't you yourself be awfully attached to the jar? What would happen at the next wedding? Or Birthday? There would be some people out there, who would be a little miffed because you did not put the same amount of thought into the gift you gave them as you did with the bride and groom with the jar of lint. I think you should think this thru before jumping into a decision that could very well change your life...

A little, I'd suggest something more modest like a bag of cat fur or stale popcorn from under the seats of a movie theatre. You wouldn't want to upstage the other guests. ;)
