Black or dark skin, Brown or Black hair, or Brown eyes (dark) is the dominant gene, so if you are fair and the father is dark, it is very likely that the baby will inherit those dominant gene's and also have dark skin, hair or eyes. Not a definate though.
Also, babies are almost always going to look more like their fathers when they are born. It goes back to cavemen era when a father was more likely to protect and feed his child if it looked like him. I know that sounds bull, but it's true. A baby doesn't always look like it's parents either. It could have throw back gene's from generations back. Genetics is wonderful.

The colouring usually comes from the darker of the parent. The child might have lighter skin but dark eyes/hair.

Admittedly curly hair and dark eyes are dominant genes. But I have noticed that my children (bi racial) look very much like my husband AND I.
They do have a wider nose and thicker lips then me, but many people say they see a resemblance.
We will see as they grow.

I have a friend who has two biracial children and they are both the spitting image of her, except that they have darker skin.

It totally depends on who's genes are stronger. I'm white and my husband is black. My 1st son looks more like me and my second son came out a little darker like daddy.

I'm white and my husband is hispanic, and it's shocking how much our son came out in-between. Skin color, etc. Other than having my husband's dark eyes (against my green ones), he's an even mix.

my nephew's kids are biracial. they have their fathers features (nose, cheakbones, curly hair, shape of eyes, ears etc) but their skin is paled white and they have green and blue eyes. so they pretty much came out with both features.

All babies look more like their father when they are first born. It is nature's way of establishing paternity.
