Assuming you have a working wireless router. You basically just have to setup your WII to connect to the router. Once done, you just click the shopping channel icon and it will lead you through the process.
You can buy WII points in the shopping channel with a major credit card or you can buy a points card from your local stores (target, walmart, ebgames, gamestop, best buy, circuit city, etc.)
also, you can go to the nintendo store and buy an adapter to plug your WII into a land line cable if you do not have a wireless router.

Just work on getting your Wii connected to your wireless router first. Once that is setup, the rest will be easy. If you can't setup or you get an error, call tech support because some of the systems have had problems.

If you have High Speed Internet, its not that hard. I have wireless and its fairly easy. But it would be easier for the Wii website to tell you than me to do so.
