HI had re re-install XP Home on My PC _ PC Has 1 Unpartitioned Hard Drive (IDE) - delete all Partitions - reformat drive that shows as C (Full format not Quick) windows installs OK but when finished the drive letter shows as H ! (This PC Has A card reader built in and these show as various letters inc C !) Problem is when you try to install software it almost always defaults to drive C - so I have a Problem - anyone any idea ? Thanks in Advance

you will need to reformat again but this time disconnect the card reader before you start and dont plug it back in untill your reinstall is finished

the usb port on the computer does not have sufficient skill besides the force it needs to have 2 connectors in 2 usb ports then connect the force to the cable and a force letter will be right now assigned, the computing gadget recognizes something is linked yet abode windows can't examine the force

you can't now...the OS is already installed. You need to format your hard drive and then install the OS using the CD.

try un pluging the wire..in IDE HDD and the card reader and then re plug them..
