I know someone that makes custom shower invitations. She is a very creative lady. Her website is sandyscustomcreations.com. I have gotten my bridal, wedding and baby shower invites from her. I really like her work.

go to the dollar store and buy cheap baby bottles, and tiny rattles and baby stuff that will fit inside the bottle. then take a paint maker and write on the baby bottle the party details on the bottle. make cupcakes for the party and decorate with edible flowers, and or tiny baby notions. let people know what the mom needs and recommend that they look at her registry. or if she doesnt have one, they have great lists at babiesrus.com. think outside the box. be creative, use the library, and weird stores to find useful stuff, that she can eventually keep.

vistaprint has really cute ones that you can personalize and they're cheap it has sections for like name address phone number but ignore those because if you don't you want beable to put all the information you need on the invitation as long as the words fit and look nice you can put what ever information in whatever box you'll understand what i mean when you get there good luck

a friend of mine made her' invitation computer generated and on the outside of the invitation she had a picture of her ultrasound with a "its a boy" as a title on the inside she had a picture of her and her boyfriend. i thought this was a good idea for many reasons. first of all those of us who did not know who the father was now had an idea of what he looked like, second she was able to show off her pic's. its up to the invitee to decide if they want to keep the pic's or not.

Depends on your personality but I used "Modern Mom" oh my gosh they are awesome....you can get them at Target or Party America.....Now I don't like really babish stuff so this was PERFECT for me.....

im not sure where you live but i am in florida and we have a place called PARTY CITY and i have seen some really cute stuff thereor you get get on line and check it out too
