Whatever one is closest to your heart...I think donating is a personal thing and has to be a cause you believe in

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Many people feel that animals do not need any help but it is my belief that we should care for all of God's creatures, great and small. I donate to many charities, especially those geared to physically abused children. I just HATE abuse, no matter who it is inflicted upon, people and animals. I can't name just one. I have several favorites that I donate to regularly:
* American Heart & Lung Association (in memory of my grandfather, who died of emphysema)
* Guiding Eyes for the Blind
* Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
* Paralyzed Veterans of America
* American Red Cross
* St. Jude
* Easter Seals
* And whenever there is disaster relief help needed.
Yes, I think some organizations need more help than others because they are not as well known.

Larry Jones "Feed the Children" largest percentage of money donated actually goes towards the purpose.

It's a personal preference as to which charities a person deem more "worthy". I give to KinderMourn and the St. Judes Children's Hospital.

Any organization which you have interest in. I love animals so I donate time and $$$ to Faithful Friends Animal Shelter.

HIV/AIDS (especially those geared toward helping Africa)
St. Jude's Children's Hospital (my favorite)
Any legitimate cancer research organization
In the end, the best charity is the one you feel needs it the most. Whatever issue or problem touches you the deepest, go with it.
