on a diamond ring for my girlfriend although I did use the wifes credit card to buy the ring. The wife has got the credit card statement and is refusing to pay the bill. Is she being unreasonable

Oh yes, what is her problem. I think every wife should pay for you to get action on the side. She must be totally unreasonable so I can see why you have a girlfriend. Plus if I was her I would use the iron for anything but ironing.

unreasonable, you sound like the unreasonable one. you bought a iron for you wife and a diamond ring for your girlfriend. i wonder what she's giving you that you're not getting from your wife. i don't think she's being unreasonable at all. i would refuse to pay and i know if you were in her position you would too. you have to look at this from both sides not just yours but hers too. think yourself in her position and tell me would you pay for it. i know you wouldn't. i think you should get it over with and just pay for it. and then apologize to her for using her credit card and wanting her to pay for the debt.

I don't think she is being unreasonable. I would iron your brain if I was your wife - Twice. That's of course if you have one, a brain I mean or a wife. Made me giggle though.

no, shes not. it is indescribably stupid that you would actually expect your wife to pay for your floozy tramp's ring. she should take that iron and make you useless to a woman, and leave you with the credit card bill.
