How do you get NIS to work on a network?

I have Norton Internet Security on my server and it keeps blocking all the other computers from accessing it. How do I go around this?

To make this work you will need to let the firewall portion of NIS know how your network is set up and configured.
After that you should be able to share files etc. again.

Uninstall Nortons and use AVG instead.
