Wear a jacket, it doesn't have to be very thick because you get warm after you start skating. But that's if your skating indoors, if your skating outside you might want to wear a little thicker jacket. Wear long pants. And definitely wear long socks, long enough to pass your ankles!!! Because if you don't the ice skates will rub against your ankles and it will hurt really bad and some of your skin ( not a lot ) will come off and it will leave a scare!!! And you don't want that to happen...trust me.
