A really good DS game is Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.

Caslevania is a great choice.
Metroid prime hunters is also decent.
If your looking for a platformer try the New Super mario bros, or Kirby Canvus curse.

If you just want a fun time I reccomend Elite beat agents(tougher but longer), or Wario ware(easier but shorter).
