hmmm i don't think so... i know some people can be both but i've never heard of a person that was neither.

No. The default is female. A y-chromosome turns off the female development system, and a male results. There are rare anomalies, but the bottom line is: if you have XX, you're female; if XY, male.

Oddly, there isn't. When children are born without a certain sexual organ, then the doctor, after consultation with the childs parents, makes a descision to determine the childs sexuality and surgery to effect it comes into play.

I saw a special on it on NOVA. It was really very frightening.
